Our Services

Language Interpreting Services
We have a long history of providing sign language interpreters to the deaf and hard of hearing population in Western PA. HDS also offers spoken language interpreters (PLAN) Pittsburgh Language Access Network.

Audiology Services
Statistics show that one out of ten Americans has some form of hearing loss. Though aging is the most common reason people lose their hearing, a growing number of young Americans are experiencing hearing deficits due to exposure to loud noises.

Life Skills Development Program
The Life Skills Development Program serves clients who are deaf and intellectually disabled and/or with mental health needs by offering instruction and experiences that improve daily living skills and foster independence.

Deaf Youth Program
The Deaf Youth Program (DYP) provides opportunities for area deaf and hard of hearing youth to interact socially with their peers and with members of the Deaf community.

HDS Westmoreland
HDS Westmoreland offers many of the same programs and services of HDS at our Greensburg, PA office.
