ASL CLasses Westmoreland  February 2023

Want to learn how to communicate in American Sign Language (ASL) with your friends, co-workers, patients, or clients who are Deaf? This is the place to start! 

HDS Westmoreland Sign Language classes for Spring 2023 will be held Monday or Wednesday evenings beginning the week of February 20. Classes will be held at our Greensburg office.

Sessions will be 2 hours long and continue until 20 hours of classroom instruction has been achieved. The cost is $100.00 for Beginning 1, which includes the textbook “A Basic Course in American Sign Language.” Beginning II classes will cost $80, and the same textbook will be used.
ASL Beginning I
Monday evenings 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Beginning February 20 (end date flexible at the discretion of the teacher and students)

ASL Beginning II
Wednesday evenings, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Beginning February 22 (end date flexible at the discretion of the teacher and students).

Erie ASL Classes 2023

  • Session 3 ASL 1: March 9-April 27 (Thursdays) 6 pm-8 pm*
    *Class may be cancelled if the minimum attendance required is not met for a class. The registration fee would be refunded.
  •  Session 4 ASL 1: April 27-June 15 (Thursdays) 6 pm-8 pm*
    *Class may be cancelled if the minimum attendance required is not met for a class. The registration fee would be refunded.
  • ASL Children’s Class: April 1-May 20 (Saturdays) 10 am-11 am*Ages 4-10. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of each class. The fee is applicable for child only. (No fee for caregiver)
  • Summertime Sign Time for KIDS (Fridays) June 16th-Aug 4th 10-11AM * Ages 5-11
    (A caregiver must remain with the child or wait on the premises)
