Interpreters interested in strengthening their skills around worship music are invited to attend “Interpreting Worship Music,” a professional development workshop taking place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Redemption Hill Church in Jefferson Hills.

Presented by Mistie Suhr and Sara Arrington of Sonshine School, the workshop will focus on practical strategies for interpreting worship music in ways that are clear, expressive, and engaging for Deaf worshippers. Topics will include researching music, identifying beats and rhymes, making intentional interpreting choices, and evaluating performance.

The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Redemption Hill Church, 115 Gill Hall Road, Jefferson Hills, PA 15025. Registration is $35 for non-CEU participants and $45 for participants receiving .2 CEUs. The workshop will be presented in ASL.
